Ecuador offers a great variety of world class points, reef and beach breaks facing directly into the Pacific Ocean. Many of these spots are open to swells from both, the northern and southern hemisphere. Depending on the swell direction, some breaks are better on north swells, while others more suited with south swells.

Given the curvature of the coastline, southern Ecuador features primarily right-point breaks, while northern Ecuador has more left-point breaks. In between, there’s a great mix of beach breaks that provide miles of empty peaks, making it easy to find uncrowded waves.
